Melvin Anderson  Founder and President                             
Melvin, the founder and president of YDS is a respected leader in youth development and wellness fields, has lead YDS since it's conception in 1999. The former Gopher and Pittsburgh Steelers Receiver is dedicated to building a vehicle to help youth and families live vibrant lives. Melvin's unrelenting passion to help youth enhance their lives is rooted in his own experience and credits his life success to the college scholarship he received. 

Norman Harrington   Director of Development 

Norman, the founder and president of NWH & Associates, a leading business consulting firm is responsible for strategic planning and programs development. Norman, is a respected leader in the community and has worked with YDS since 2010.


Lisa Anderson    Director of Programs & Events 

Lisa Anderson, a former Gopher track & field alumni and graduate provides operational oversight and the coordination of YDS programs and community events. Lisa, has worked with YDS since its' conception in 1999.

Sheri Styles                Director of Nutrition
Sheri, is YDS's health and wellness programs lead nutrition counselor with our health program. She is responsible for developing care plans, planning and leading data testing and processing results, along with delivering health education, nutrition workshops, and family counseling. Sheri, also work as a pediatric and general specialty nurse with Park Nicollet Clinic Systems (Pediatric Endocrinology, Urology, General Surgery, ENT, Rheumatology and Urgent Care).  She has a degree in Practical Nursing with studies in exercise science, nutrition and preventative/holistic care. 

Jack Mayeron        Director of Track & Field Jack, a former St. Cloud State track & field alumni and graduate provides operational oversight and the coordination of our Track Minnesota Elite program and community track events. Jack has worked with YDS since 2004.

Isaac Anderson        Director of Fitness 

The former Badger and Winnipeg Blue Bomber Receiver and NETA certified Trainer has extensive training experience, including college and professional playing experience. Isaac specializes in Functional Impairment Movement, Isolation Muscle Strengthening, and Mechanical Speed Conditioning. He holds a Business Management Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Isaac is a YDS alumni and a original participant of YDS programs.
